"In 2018, the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission revoked the license of the company that operated the Edenville Dam due to non-compliance issues that included spillway capacity and the inability to pass the most severe flood reasonably possible in the area.
The Edenville Dam, which was built in 1924, was rated in unsatisfactory condition in 2018 by the state. The Sanford Dam, which was built in 1925, received a fair condition rating.
Both dams are in the process of being sold."

I was a nuclear engineering intern at Bechtel Power Corporation in Ann Arbor in 1973 and worked on the Midland nuclear power plant project. That was the only reason I knew about what happened to the Midland power plant.

Yes, that’s just it. When you act like a dictator, people don’t take you seriously.
Of course, no one will admit it publicly
for fear of getting locked in their homes for God only knows how long...

Oh my God, I’m from Chicago and still have a lot of friends there.
I’ll call them tomorrow. Prayers for those who may be affected.
To: HIDEK6
Do they have to wear masks? Are only essential people to be evacuated?
= = =
Exactly.
Nature sure has a way of exposing this fruitcake, plastic faced Gov.

When the danger passes and the waters recede, will she not let them go home, or will she order the evacuation to continue indefinitely regardless?

You have to hear the voice in the line "Hey lady, make up your mind!" like you would hear it from a 1960s sitcom NYC cab driver. The put upon driver who is just trying to do his job is trying to get the woman to decide, but doesn't want to explicitly insult her.

Dam it! I wish Gov. Witless would be under 9 feet of water. Now that would be good news for the state and country.
To: mass55th
Only 6 people to a life raft or canoe or rescue boat. The rest will have to wait for other craft to arrive. Luv Gov. Whitless!

#18. Re “Noah’s Ark” in Gagetown, Mich. If they are in the path of any major flooding, I hope they have a lot of kitty litter/pans.
