Tomorrow? There would be no chance for the Sunday talk shows to make anyone who might have voted Yes scared to. And since this upcoming weekend is a holiday weekend, that's no good either. So it needs to go another weekend , plus a couple of days to pressure anyone who still thinks subpeonas should be issued.
This is kabuki dance so Linda can say he put it to a vote and what can he do, it didn't pass.
