They are. Like China, India's numbers are laughably bogus.

So they are running at less than 3% mortality. Doesn’t a large portion of the Indian population take hdroxychloroquine to prevent malaria??
Hmmm....ironic

They need to flatten the curve so they don’t clog up the Ganges river.

Such a tidy, sanitary place. A real sense of individual responsibility.

I can't imagine why they had a jump in cases:

RE: The Latest: India reports largest single-day virus surge
The more you test, the more you’ll see cases.
What concerns me is not just the infection rate but the mortality rate.

(look at Michigan, it will)
It starts as a “rich mans disease”, people who travel, big cities.
Then migrates to the poor.
India has been unexplicably(by some accounts) spared so far, but, India is slated to get real bad.

5,242 new cases of coronavirus SHOULD translate to 5,242 people instantly put on the HCQ-Zn-Zpack regimen. One would hope. India is by far the largest manufacturer of HCQ in the world.
Add to that that yes, people being treated with HCQ for anything -- whether it's malaria, Lupus or Rheumatoid Arthritis --- have strong protection against coronavirus. The Italian Rheumatology Society (SIR) reported that of 65,000 RA patients taking HCQ in hard-hit Italy, the number who have tested positive for COVID-19 is, at this point, 20.

Do you have a link for that?

What concerns me is not just the infection rate but the mortality rate.Well heres a data point. When the USA reached 100K cases, we were seeing 400-500 deaths per day.
India is near 100K cases, but seeing less than 200 deaths per day.
Lets see where we are in two weeks
