Did Rush give any type of 'health update' today? I was on a long phone call from about 1:50 to 2:20, and unfortunately missed that part of his show.
I did hear he's taking tomorrow off. I'm kind of concerned about that. I think he said he was really tired or "gassed"?
Continued prayers for our dear El Rushbo. Hope whatever cancer treatments he's getting are working...

He’ll be back Tuesday; I didn’t hear any detailed health reports from him.

Stage 4 Lung is usually pretty far down the road; I’m hoping it’s localized and not metastasized and spread to other areas and organs.

He said at the top of the show that he "had news, but he didn't want to be the 'radio host with cancer,' he wanted to be the radio host most listened to." He said he might decide to talk about it later in the show if the mood hit him.
Then I had to leave and didn't get to hear the rest of the show.

If he did it was at the beginning of the show and I missed that. I was concerned about the “gassed” comment, too, and he did look like the 3 hours rather sapped his strength. Hope he’s feeling stronger next Tuesday when he’ll be back.

From what I heard of today's show, Rush sounded rather ticked off today, more than usual. I hope everything is OK. "OK" as well as it can be for him...

He said he might decide to talk about it later in the show if the mood hit him. Yes, thanks... I heard that, too, PJT. I *really* wanted to hear every minute of today's show to see if he would give a "health update", but I had to be on a long phone call, and missed a chunk of the show.
Then Rush suddenly said he will be taking tomorrow off, because he was "gassed". Kinda has me worried... :-(
All we can do is pray for him, I guess.

I was concerned about the gassed comment, too, and he did look like the 3 hours rather sapped his strength. Were you watching him on the Ditto Cam? I'm always doing so many things while I listen, so -- even though I have Rush 24/7 -- I rarely sit and watch him do his show. Maybe I'll log in on Tuesday and see how he looks.
He didn't sound quite the same to me today, as least during the parts of the show I heard. He sounded kind of "ticked off" today (maybe because he wasn't feeling well?). More than usual. Damn... I hope and pray he is OK.

I was watching on the ditto cam. He was obviously ready for the 3 hours to be done.
I think being ticked off is a combination of so much stupidity going on and the fact that he’s been weakened by his treatment and can’t be “all he wants to be”. I hope a weekend of rest will improve his energy level and his temper.
I get ticked off when I don’t feel well, too. LOL!

[I have been reading the Spenser books as a cure for cabin fever and he gets on a Rolling Rock Jag.]
The Spenser books are way more unrealistic than the Philip Marlowe series written by Raymond Chandler. But the pacing is better, even if the Marlowe books are superior, from a literary standpoint. If you want even faster pacing, consider the Elvis Cole series by Robert Crais. It’s current day TV series pacing - real roller coaster stuff.
