President Donald Trump vowed to use “every plane, truck and soldier” to distribute COVID-19 vaccines he hopes will be ready by year’s end — even as the country’s top scientists gear up for a master experiment to rapidly tell if any really work.
Trump on Friday declared the vaccine program he calls “Operation Warp Speed” will be “unlike anything our country has seen since the Manhattan Project.”
The goal is to have 300 million doses in stock by January, a huge gamble since a vaccine never has been created from scratch so fast — and one that could waste millions if shots chosen for the production line don’t pan out. As the manufacturing side gets into place, the National Institutes of Health is working in parallel to speed the science.
At least four or five possible vaccines “look pretty promising” and one or two will be ready to begin large-scale testing by July with others to follow soon, NIH Director Francis Collins told The Associated Press.
“The big challenge now is to go big and everybody is about ready for that. And we want to be sure that happens in a coordinated way,” Collins said.
That year-end goal is a “very bold plan ... a stretch goal if there ever was one,” he said in an interview late Thursday.
Worldwide, about a dozen vaccine candidates are in the first stages of testing or poised to begin, small safety studies in people to look for obvious problems and whether the shots rev up the immune system. Among those getting the most attention are one created by the NIH and Moderna Inc., and a different type created by Britain’s Oxford University.

You will not be forced, but if you do not. Then you can not go to the grocery store, work, go to a restaurant, a major event, etc...
If you get , then you have to prove it. They will eventually chip everyone.

The fact that President Trump is pushing a vaccine that has killed less people than the flu does is very upsetting. Moreover, using the military to do it is disgusting. If Obama or Hillary did this, then we would go into revolution.
I hope it’s ready by year’s end. No chance the left will retract its condemnation of Trump for hoping that it would be ready by then.

Virus mutate so they change constantly through out the year.
This is why we would have to get a new vaccine every year.
This is why the cold virus does not have a vaccines because it is constantly changing. That is what viruses do.
So to guess the correct strain and then mass produce it.... By the time that has happened the virus has already changed. Thus, the vaccine is useless. Viruses mutate thousands of times a year. This is why the flu vaccine never works. They never get the right strain. The CDC even admits that.
You need to ask why is this vaccine pushed instead of thinking the vaccine is going to save you?
They do and it is frightening thinking the government can come along and chip us. Oh yeah and that would not be subject to abuse.

With all due respect Enlightened1, let’s say that everybody but me has been vaccinated.
So if I go to a store or other crowded place and get infected, or am already infected and spreading it to people who have been vaccinated (AHEM!), since I refused to be vaccinated I don’t know that I will have legal standing to sue store or whoever.
In other words, nobody but me gets hurt for refusing vaccine.

FWIW the guy with the gay frogs in Austin says he recognizes this as exactly how Trump took away the gun control momentum by saying that he might back whatever: basically forcing his oppoments to look away from whatever he is for. Gay frog guy said he didn’t like that strategy, especially with the stakes so high and as an alternative to respectfully leveling with Americans. But the military move ia an attempt to take such a mobilization out of the hands of Gates, Soros and the Clinton Foundation, counting on the end of the year to be a long time from now anyway.
Where’s the “HIV vaccine” Fauci promised after billions spent? What makes these morons think they can have a SAFE or effective vaccine for this within a year? And why should anyone who is not a geezer or immuno-compromised be crazy enough to take it?
we should begin a warp speed antibody push - everyone could be back to work and out and about without fear of getting the virus IF enough doses could be made- but really- only the sick with preexisting conditions, elderly etc would need it first- doubtful healthy folk would even need it judging by how many got it and survived it just fine with little to no symptoms
From what I have read, HCQ+AZT+Zinc acts as both a cure AND a vaccine.
But at only $1 a pop, not as profitable as $1,000 pills.

I would in no way take this vaccine. I remember in about 1975 or 1976 they came out with the first Flu shots, rushed to market. A number of people died or were paralyzed from it. I even remember President Ford going on TV having the shot, or so we were told, probably was water.
No real testing or anything but they are going to roll out this miracle vaccine which probably will not work.
There are a lot of studies in NIH showing that Vitamin D is effective in preventing the flu, and several current studies showing that low Vitamin D levels are associated with the more severe cases of the Chinese flu. So one of the “vaccines” that should be tried is 10,000 IU of Vitamin D daily. This would require regular blood tests to insure compliance, but the vitamin is cheap and available now.
