Not merely a slush fund, the idea is to totally overwhelm the financial stability of the entire Federal government. This is Cloward-Piven on steroids, far beyond the dreams of avarice its practitioners had only a few years ago. Back then, they just bankrupted and devastated cities.

Now they are going after the whole damned country.

I don’t see congress giving up their paychecks to help any citizen. Those idiots aren’t even going to work and they still get paid. I heard last night their excuse is they CAN’T travel! Can’t we charter a plane or take one from the government fleet of planes - put them all on one and head out over the ocean with 1/4 full tanks? Either East or West Coast - no matter! As long as there’s no land in sight.

House and Senate pay is the same at $174,000.00 per year - except for Speaker and Senate Pro Tem and House and Senate minority and majority leaders. Add in all their office budgets and other perks we taxpayers are kind enough to give to them and it could be distributed to those they care SO MUCH ABOUT!

NO MONEY TO STATES OR CITIES!!! They created their own mess - let them figure it out.

“”There are a few exceptions to the average pay. The speaker of the house salary is $223,500. The salary of the president pro tempore of the Senate is $193,400, which is also the salary for the majority and minority leaders of the both the House of Representatives and the Senate.””

CONgress. Making dumbasses into millionaires for decades. Of course when I screw up financially, I know all my neighbors will bail me out. Or not.

You’d get mighty tired of waiting for your neighbors or even relatives to bail you out...Friends? Maybe!

We have been taught a valuable lesson. I’ve been voting for 60+ years and am just now learning how rotten and corrupt DC is.

Did I see a headline right a bit ago - that Judge Sullivan is asking Holder’s firm to second guess what he should be doing about Flynn? That’s the firm that represented Flynn in the beginning. I don’t understand. I cannot learn who on earth recommended that firm to Flynn except to sabotage him...Now if this doesn’t stink to high heaven, nothing does or ever will!

Every day everything I believe is just reinforced over and over.
