$180 million literally up in smoke.
Shiite, we don’t have that many flight ready raptors.
difficult to replace an f-22
Will be listed as virus death.
Would take around a dozen to equal the cost of the B-2 crash in 2008.

Nobody hurt = great news
Pilot still alive, last we heard.
Oh, da PLANE. Yes. :-)
Oops, make that nine. I was going with Wikipedia’s “runaway cost” per plane of total production.
that looks like the overall cost including R&D, rather than the actual unit cost — but I get your point.
33rd. Fighter Wing.
The main distributor of MIG parts in the Mideast.
Yeah, thanks. I adjusted after comparing both Wikipedia sources... now 8 to 9. :-)
Not a problem when your government can pull money out of its ass.
maybe 120 mission ready - rest: maintenance, parts, hanger queens
Yeah, but since DOD ordered the demolition of the F-22 assembly line, you can’t pull out another F-22.
Don’t get me started! We need at least 100 more F-22’s, probably closer to 200 more.
Our doctrines require not air superiority, but 100% complete and total mastery. Chi-Coms will have thousands of modern fighters, attack planes and drones, if push comes to shove. (And they’re pushin.’)
And Obama ordered the tooling to be destroyed so no replacements.
Dang, I was watching them fly around this morning just before this.
Yep, the only REAL money gov. knows is that which it takes in taxes. And it only taxes the serfs to let them know who’s in charge.
