From the evidence, the case could be made that if President Barack Obama had terrorist Osama bin Laden killed in May 2011 at the latter's Abbottabad compound in Pakistan, Obama would have had to bring him back from the dead to do so.
On December 26, 2001, the Egyptian newspaper a-l Wafd posted a death announcement for bin Laden, citing as its source "a prominent official in the Afghan Taleban movement." According to the source, bin Laden had received a formal Islamic burial ten days prior in Tora Bora.
On July 30, 2002, CNN headlined an article "Sources: No bodyguards, no bin Laden." Apparently, several members of bin Laden's security team had been captured and shipped to Guantanamo. Reported CNN, "Some high-level U.S. officials are already convinced by such evidence that bin Laden, who has not been seen or heard from in months, is dead."
On October 7, 2002, CNN ran a speculative article citing Afghan president Hamid Karzai, headlined "Karzai: bin Laden 'probably' dead." On May 10, 2003, the U.K.'s Independent headlined an article, "Bin Laden died from wounds suffered in Tora Bora air raid, says Arab expert." The expert in question traced his death to December 2001, the same month as the notice in the Egyptian paper.
Bin Laden had been in poor health for several years. In March 2000, Asia Week described him as having "a kidney infection that is propagating itself to the liver and requires specialized treatment." Additionally, a mobile dialysis machine had been delivered to his hideout in Kandahar in the first half of 2000. Examining a video from December 2001, CNN medical correspondent Dr. Sanjay Gupta argued that bin Laden was likely suffering from "chronic kidney failure, renal failure."

I have always wondered who it was that ordered all those SEALs onto the same helicopter. IIRC, there were supposed to be two helicopters but at the last minute they were put on the same helicopter. I still tear up when I think of all those killed in that shoot down. I wonder if ‘they’ can find out who changed the orders. Did it go to the ‘highest’ Commander? Probably we will never know. But they MAY find out if they look hard enough.

Any Navy personnel know about burial at sea? I would think it would be an honor for American veterans only and Navy personnel killed in the line duty aboard ship.
There’s a lot of crazy to unpack here, but maybe it’s good to do it once in a while to keep the old brain working.
1) there was an aerial incursion into Pakistan. We lost a high-tech Blackhawk I’m the process of a hard landing in abbotobad. There is open source media, including contemporaneous accounts on Twitter at the time to confirm this.
2) media collected in the raid and released afterwards included video of Bin Laden, visibly older than the claimed possible death dates.
3) the sheer number of people who would have had to be in on this ongoing conspiracy is astounding, it would number into the tens of thousands of people; political, military, Intel, media, foreign government, etc... And span across both the Bush and Obama presidencies as well as be maintained by multiple hostile foreign governments ... and not be revealed in any of several very sensitive data leaks.
As I recall the Kenyan had released his fake birth certificate online. When the momentum of disbelief in its authenticity started to grow Bin Laden was announced dead.
If the Navy Seals say they killed him then they killed him. They only claim what they kill. It would be a great dishonor to claim otherwise.
How do we really know, burial at sea, no photos, maybe lucky DNA.

What had jumped out at me, long before the “raid”, was that the nature of his messages to his followers changed. Early ones were video in nature, and timely. After a certain point (perhaps the Tora Bora bombing campaign), they changed to audio tapes only, and were much more vague and general messages...in other words, something that could have been put together from splicing bits of older recordings together. But...nobody in bureaucracy was willing to risk declaring him dead.
