Michigan Gov. Gretchen Whitmer said Wednesday that the protests in the state's capital city against state measures meant to limit the spread of the coronavirus make it more likely that the state will have to keep restrictions in place longer.
Appearing Monday on ABC's "The View," Whitmer, a Democrat, was asked about the pushback against her administration's coronavirus restrictions. There have been multiple protests in the state's capital city of Lansing in the past few weeks, including one late last month that saw protesters -- some of them armed -- entering the state Capitol, screaming at law enforcement officers and not adhering to social distancing guidelines or wearing masks.
While she respects people's right to dissent, Whitmer said, the protesters are putting people at risk. "The fact of the matter is, these protests -- in a perverse way -- make it likelier that we are going to have to stay in a stay-at-home posture," she said, going on to encourage anyone with a platform to call on people to "do the right thing."

Sadly, myself included, we at FR live in a bubble where we convince ourselves all the polls are wrong because they were wrong before in Hillary’s loss.
But they were similar to today’s polls for the abominable Pelosi and Schiff takeover of the US House in 2018. And impeachment did not act as an elixir for Trump as it did for the Clinton era Dems. And if it’s true old people are starting to blame Trump for risking them in the virus policy (probably a phony poll, though) it is trouble.
We are on dangerous ground in the swing states and still facing massive vote fraud.
I have to, gulp, trust that some Americans will be barely smart enough to realize the Biden replacement nominee is a socialist who will upend their way of life and tax them to destruction, and the Obama-Comey type coup conspirators were evil. A big order for us.

This is what I have so far. I am being cautious. President Trump wins Nevada because Vegas is suffering due to zero tourism and they'll be more likely to support him due to bringing the economy back to life. I turned Michigan and Pennsylvania blue because of their recent history. I think Trump will win Michigan and loses Pennsylvania but I am playing it safe here.

The best we can do is try to fight this, and be prepared for the worst.
Because should the dems take the WH and the House and Senate, this country is GONE.
Between what has been going on for the last couple months now, and what I see potentially happening as the election draws nearer, anyone who is paying attention needs to be very seriously prepping for a long term rough ride.
Make sure you are well stocked with necessities and even those few extras you really enjoy. Think food, meds, clothes, car parts, home repairs, guns and ammo, any appliances that need to be replaced, alternate forms of heat, things to keep busy when snowed in or locked down.
Be prepared if the internet is messed with. I know my kids and even mr. mm tend to depend way too much on the availability of things online like movies and access to how to information. Books and DVD’s and CDs are becoming, allegedly, a thing of the past.
I, OTOH, refuse to give up my DVD and CD collection and devices on which to play them. I will ALWAYS have them and don’t have to worry about having something I enjoy being censored out.
And learn survival skills, or just how to do things like grandma did. Make your own bread, can your own food that you grew yourself, etc. Your survival may literally depend on your self-sufficiency.
Good to know that Biden will never be elected... Trump couldn’t ask for a better dupe to run against... Except for maybe Hillary.
