Former Gov. John Hickenlooper leads U.S. Sen. Cory Gardner by 18 percentage points in Colorado's U.S. Senate race, according to a poll from Colorado firms released Wednesday.

The Keating-Onsight-Melanson poll of likely voters, made available in advance of its release to Colorado Politics, shows Hickenlooper with 54% support to Gardner's 36% in a hypothetical head-to-head contest, with 9% undecided and 1% picking another candidate.

Hickenlooper is at the far left extreme

He’s a Democrat who supports oil drilling, right?

Colorado is a very strange place these days. Nothing like I remember fro the late 50’s.
..................................................
Neither is most of the rest of the country, and for the same reasons, which I don’t need to explain because everyone who’s paying attention knows what’s happening and why.

I didn’t hear his position on oil. His extreme anti-gun policies as governor struck me as the fastest imaginable path to a second civil war if he ever takes national office.

He’s a former geologist who’s pro-drilling, at least in comparison with many Dem leaders

My first visit to Colorado was in 1967. Through the years, I visited and then lived in CO until 1993.
The change, over the time, was drastic, not immediate but slow and, in the end, extreme. A, once conservative state, became a liberal shithole. I, and many people, blame it on the influx of rabid leftists from California.

Those people definitely “Californicated Colorade!”

I miss the mountains, skiing, hunting, cutting my own Christmas tree in the Pike National Forest, and good friends who were unable to escape the liberal onslaught.
Two of my daughters graduated from “CU Boulder” and have imbibed the cool-aid, to my dismay.

“Gardner is a traitorous, wretched swamp monster. Piss on him.”

Yes, let’s give Chuck Schumer control of the Senate and judicial nominations.
That’ll teach that punk Gardner a lesson!

Oh yes, indeed - best to empower Romney and give him more control over things...

I see. Bullocks has more charisma than Danier. I guess we’ll have 50 with Pence as the tiebreaker except when Romney pulls a McCain.

I thought it was Chickenpooper 😂

Yes you are right. I had a brain fart. Maybe I was thinking of where a Chickenpooper might live, in a chickencooper. LOL.

That’s the way I figure him. I delete his emails and “Return to sender” his mail.

He used his victory speech on election night, 2014 to let all those who voted for him, including me, that impeaching obunghole and government shutdown were both off the table. His friggin victory speech was a concession to the left.

That’s a good reminder of where he’s coming from.

I’ll need to think long and hard about voting for him in Nov. but if there’s a possibility he could win I suppose I’ll vote for him. Losing the Senate would be a disaster. we’re in a hell of a spot.
