Authorities in Nigeria demolished two hotels in its southern Rivers state on Sunday after they were accused of breaking lockdown rules meant to limit the spread of the coronavirus, according to a report.
State Governor Nyesom Wike said the managers of the Edemete Hotel and Prodest Home were arrested after they reportedly disregarded an order that hotels should be closed.
He supervised their destruction, adding that people who tested positive for the coronavirus had been found in hotels across the state. Wike didn't say whether anyone who stayed at the demolished hotels had tested positive for the virus, according to the BBC.

I looked under “5 Star” hotels for the Edemete Hotel. Nothin.
I’ll check 4 Star.
Half-Whitmer would love to be able to do this.
Jeez, hopefully Governor Half-Whitmer of Michigan and Pennsylvanias Marxist Governor (along with that states mentally ill Health Secretary) dont get any ideas from this.
Well, that’s kinda harsh. I hope Newsome dosen’t hear about that.
I remember reading a contrast on how elephant herds were managed in Botswana vs. Kenya. In Kenya, they would seize ivory tusks and other products from poached elephants and have a big bonfire.
In Botswana, they would auction off permits and take a small cut of the ivory sale to finance the enforcement activity, often from elephants which had died of natural causes, but also from those who were old and slow and close to natural death.
Guess which country had thriving herds of elephants and which was constantly plagued by poachers.
We see the nazi light brigade trying their luck here with their dictator tactics, if they had the chance and complete control they would do the same. Oh how they admire those who have this control over people
probably a couple of motel 4’s. not even close enought to be motel 6’s
I just got an e-mail from a Nigerian Prince who offered to sell me a piece of one of the Hotels for %10,000.
He said they would be collectors items worth over $10,000,000 within 6 months.
They didn’t happen to be in the Hyatt chain did they? You know, the one owned by the Pritzker family...
Well, Comrade de Blasio threatened to permanently destroy some churches and synagogues so we’re not that far away from this.
