Replace McMichael with Comey and Arbery with Trump ... and then tell us how trustworthy a person with a long track record in law enforcement is to you.
“”The last thing one would expect an experienced police officer to do when being approached by an armed felon is to stand in the back of a pickup box with his revolver still in his holster.””
Where in this story does it say the suspect was armed and where does it say anybody said he was. There’s still the question about the hammer but I’ve yet to see anything about it being used as a weapon. I suspect the suspect took the hammer from the house thinking he’s use it in defense, he may have dropped it when he seen the truck, two men and guns.
I’m still of the opinion that the suspect not only trespassed on private property but proceeded to turn that misdemeanor into a felony burglary when he entered a private residence. He knew he’d been spotted and made a run for it (Taking the hammer with him), then dropped it when he was fleeing. What possessed the suspect to actually make contact with the son is beyond me, he could have just ran right by. As you pointed the father hadn’t upholstered his weapon which led’s me to believe he never expected to use it. As far as the son goes I never seen him raise his weapon until attacked. Seemed pretty obvious to me that nobody was planning on it ending the way it did.
As long as you are going to use ‘straw men’ examples to make your argument, why not have Charlie Manson play McMichael and Jesus play Arbery ?
It is kind of hard to keep up, sometimes. Much of what I’m finding posted on several subjects I’ve been interested in recently, is old and superseded info being republished by someone else that just found out...
