He’s trying to follow a model of ethics completely rebuked by the other side of the aisle. It’s like being hired to a job and given a set of rules by HR yet all your co-workers break them in order to sabotage you. You either start fighting back or the rules mean nothing other than a leash.
Go to Hell, Jeff.
Useless to everyone who isn’t a Democrat.
Yep. But the Q people (at least some of the ones I interact with on Twit) are now to the point with the “Trust Sessions” stuff that they are now arguing Sessions did it to “save Trump from himself.”
Seriously.
You’re saying that the Q People TRUST Sessions? Just ... wow!
Jeffey, you had your chance to help our great nation and President,, but instead you chose to hide. Goodbye. We’re electing a non-politician this time, one who will support our President. Go Tubberville!!
There is no plan. Trump hates him. Bannon hates him.
He betrayed President Trump and Trump knows it. To say otherwise means you really do not support Trump at all, because he makes abundantly clear Sessions screwed him.
On top of all that, how’s this for a “plan?” Besides NOT helping in the “muh Russia” debacle, idiot Sessions as AG:
*did not prosecute ONE Antifa violent mobster. But he did find time to prosecute the Charlottesville driver.
*did not prosecute ONE SINGLE “sanctuary city” official for violating federal laws
*did not prosecute ONE SINGLE secretary of state who refused to comply with federal law and Kris Kobach’s voter fraud investigation
*”declined to prosecute” 1) the Awans; 2) Comey 3) McCabre, 4) Deep Stroke and Pageboy, 5) LOIS LERNER (who had nothing to do with the “coup”) 6) Bill Priestap
*did not have DOJ look into judicial corruption with Sullivan or others
*allowed Michael Flynn to be bankrupted, Paul Manafort to be sentenced to decades in prison for just knowing Trump
*allowed Roger Stone to be prosecuted
*allowed George Papadapoulous to be unjustly prosecuted
*allowed Carter Page to be unjustly investigated.
Sessions will go down in history as the most corrupt, weakest and worst AG ever.
IIRC, Sessions admitted to meeting with Russians, as was SOP for Senators. He was cowed into his recusal over a brief dinner party meeting, meanwhile General Flynn stood strong at great cost.
Nice try Jeffy...wimp
You do realize without Sessions and Bannon there would have never been a Trump Presidency. I dont agree with everything Sessions did as AG, but hardly is he the devil incarnate.
Folks need to realize who the enemy is, and Sessions is not it.
Lucifer was a pretty good guy ... until he wasn’t.
Trust Sessions may have meant to trust President Trumps selection of him.
President Trump said Sessions was his worst mistake. So I doubt your theory.

I think you are right - they forced him to recuse or they would “Flynn” him.
What do we know now that they did to Flynn?
They set him up, they created a narrative in the normal unsettled transition period, and then they ran to the White House and told them Flynn has lied to Pence.
They played a dirty game. The White House was unprepared for it and never expected it was dirty because that is very abnormal for Washington.
They had to remove Flynn to hide what they had done. They had to remove Sessions to pave the way for the Special Counsel and 2 years of investigating Trump. I think they truly believed they would find something or be able to create something against Trump.
Trump had the whole world set against him at the outset of his administration and Sessions folded. He recused himself because he “met the Russian ambassador” and the lawyers at DOJ told him he must recuse.
It was as false as everything else. Let us compare -
Sessions met the ambassador as a senator and exchanged pleasantries.
Rosenstein signed one of the FISA warrants.
In hindsight, who should have been recused?
The scumbag was in on it from the beginning along with mcconnell ryan and obama. I’ll bet he went to obamas house in dc to get his marching orders from valerie jarrett

I’ve long thought Sessions selfishly wanted to be AG so badly he was willing to ignore the anti Trump partisans operating freely under him. Also, he knew fully supporting Trump and MAGA meant losing a lifetime of beltway friends. This is a time for choosing and Sessions chose Sessions. His running for his old seat confirms that to me.
I think the GOPe (Sessions included) all were upset with Trump’s campaign season banter about Russia/Putin, too. Never mind it was Obama who cancelled NATO missile defense in deference to Putin, etc. The GOP just aren’t going to support Trump on the “Russia issue” ever.

So true. And brutal.
Why has Rosenstein not been publicly flogged for his illegal scope memo and FISA conflicts of interest? Not even one time! To quote Bill ayers: he’s guilty as sin. Free as a bird.
Yeah, not like the severe damage you did to the president by stepping down. Sheesh!
Please, folks need to wake up and realize who the enemy is.. otherwise your just as loopy as the most radical leftist.
Not everyone who doesnt agree with or do what you want them to do 100% of the time is your enemy.
Sessions is a politician. His political instincts pushed him to make a poor decision as AG.. that doesnt make him a bad guy.
Ill take sessions in the Senate any day over Jones.
Sessions should have resigned if he couldn’t do his AG duties.
“your just as loopy as the most radical leftist.”
That would be, “YOU’RE just as loopy...”
“His political instincts pushed him to make a poor decision.”
That would be YOUR opinion, and maybe about 25% of conservatives agree with you. The other 75% believe otherwise.
It’s cool if y’all in Alabama want to have a known screw-up with questionable discernment in your government. Each to his own. That’s why we have elections.
We’ve elected some doozies here in TN, for sure.
