MORE FROM THE WASHINGTON EXAMINER:
(EXCERPT)
CNN’s Brian Stelter chided President Trump for a “racist” response he gave a Chinese-American reporter during a White House press conference.
CBS reporter Weijia Jiang asked Trump in the Rose Garden on Monday why he cares if the United States has the largest testing capacity in the world.
“Why is this a global competition to you if every day Americans are still losing their lives?” Jiang, who was born in China and raised in West Virginia after immigrating to the U.S., wondered.
“Well, they’re losing their lives everywhere in the world. And maybe that’s a question you should ask China. Don’t ask me. Ask China that question, OK? When you ask them that question, you may get a very unusual answer,” Trump responded.
Stelter reacted to the moment during a CNN segment following the briefing, saying the president espoused racist sentiments.
“I think what we saw in that exchange with Weijia Jiang is something that has racial overtones. It is racist to look at an Asian-American White House correspondent and say, ‘Ask China.’ This isn’t happening in a vacuum. This is part of a pattern of behavior from the president that goes back many years,” the network’s chief media correspondent said before accusing Trump of having a particular prejudice for minority reporters.
“He doesn’t have the benefit of the doubt that someone might have if for the first time ever in their life they made a comment like that to a reporter,” Stelter added.
Pathetic “narrative” from the media.
On twitter the establishment media libs are just giving it a mention, Stelter is going nuts- a sure sign they know it’s a loser.
Same shHhh different day from this activist.
what was racist?
china is a politic hal entity, not a race.
also, zoo zoo took her mask off and then feigned surprise as tv cameras broadcast her faked expression.
Swat down of the Oujia Broad.
MORE WINNING!
Another reason to halt all immigration
It was just another MSM setup. That is why the China-girl was tasked with the job. I am sure POTUS realizes this now. If I were him, I would pull her access pass for the deliberate trouble making.
As usual, nice to see Trump not taking the MSM excrement.
She won't ask China, because that's who is pulling her strings.
“the China-girl was tasked with the job”
Precisely.
No matter how Trump reacted to the stupid question the media had it’s “story”.
Yahoo doing what it does best. He didn’t end the press conference because he was challenged, he ended it because the CBS and CNN -itches just wanted to argue and wouldn’t let the press conference proceed. The CNN -itch was called on but didn’t respond, instead letting the CBS -itch continue her hurt feeling rant. So Trump chose another person and only then did the CNN -itch want to ask her question. Trump said she had her chance and she wouldn’t shut up and wanted to argue, so Trump said see ya later children and left. Those two -itches and the rest of the WHPC are full of themselves and think they are more important than the president — they aren’t. They aren’t needed for a damn thing.
That was a heckler, not a reporter.
It *is* a global competition. U.S. is best and has the most tests.
Why are the female reporters so annoying?
I’m sick of these Karen reporters. They live to boss, interfere, lecture, interrupt, lie, and distort. They’re like a Helen Thomas Cult.
She’s a Propagandist working for the ChiComs.
Why is that CCP spy still allowed to question the President?
“Why are the female reporters so annoying?”
Because they can not be held to the rules of femininity , but any response to them can.
It’s a great trap.
Did you notice she took her mask down so you could see her face?
[[Why are the female reporters so annoying?]]
Because they are liberal- the liberal men are annoying as all get out too- they aren’t reporters- they are paid just to be annoying and nasty-
