The CDC numbers for Covid-19 deaths are in fact tens of thousands less than what is being shown in the WorldOMeter and Johns Hopkins University websites.
CDC puts a caveat on their webpage stating that these numbers are PROVISIONAL and could change as death certificate confirmations from each states are officially confirmed.

These mortality rates are all statistical constructs. Most clinicians do not consider this data as absolutely accurate
