“More than 200 celebrities, scientists and Nobel Prize winners have signed an open letter rejecting the idea that things should go back to normal after the coronavirus pandemic ends arguing that we must, instead, stop the pursuit of consumerism.”
Just more Hollywierdos, legends in their own minds, who take themselves seriously. No one else does, except for the people who are celebrity worshippers.
These self-important pricks fancy themselves as great artists and innovative geniuses. I suspect that in 500 years not a one of them will be written about or remembered the way DaVinci or Michelangelo are today, as people who moved civilization forward. They may be expounded upon in specialized texts that focus on pop culture of the 20th century, but outside of that, will rate little more than a footnote or small paragraph at best.
