November 7 Dow +1.9%
November 8 (election day) Dow slightly higher
November 9 Dow +1.4%

As I recall, gloomy MSM commentators were talking about a huge drop in the Dow futures on election night, as it was becoming obvious that Trump was going to win. Trump was going to be a financial disaster they said.

I don’t know if that drop was even true, but it sure didn’t have a lasting effect.

The market gained for six straight days.

By 12/31/16, the market was already up over 1,400 points post
election.

At this site, you can put in your own start and stop date
for study.

Enter 11/02/2016 and 12/31/2016. You’ll get two pages. Be
