Every Republican on the committee knew this and sat on it silently.. They could’ve leaked it. They could have walked out on the steps and said it was a lie according to sworn testimony. Sure, there’s an outside chance Jeff Sessions might’ve prosecuted them.
So maybe in a complete nightmare scenario, sessions prosecutes them, and they go to prison. But their very damned country was at stake. I see we have no Nathan Hales in Congress.
