Fully agree with you. I don’t think the Republicans wanted Hillary in office. But they would’ve been very pleased had Trump left and Pence took over. But I don’t really even think they wanted that. I think they wanted Trump to remain in office, but very weakened, and very dependent on pleasing Ryan and McConnell. Buy my scientific calculations he was able to do about 40% of what he could have if the republican party had his back.

Paul Ryan knew people were lying. Trey Gowdy knew that was a lie right then it didn’t have the balls to go on TV and say she was saying things on TV that were in direct conflict with sworn testimony. The Republicans let this bullshit go on for three years, and it caused us to lose the house.
Deep State Trey made the TV rounds in the run up to the midterms. Not just Fox but also Fake News where he was very ambigious in his support of POTUS. I vividly recall him smearing POTUS: “If you are innocent, act like it.”
This was of course long after Gowdy was privy to this testimony. I find it amusing no one in the media is calling out Ryan’s Republicans. Many assume the transcripts are from Schiff’s time as chairman. That’s not the case, obviously.
The GOP has a lot to answer for regarding their role in this ongoing bipartisan coup. They seem to be pushing all the big issues so close to the election that nothing will be done and Trump voters will support them anyway.

Sessions was playing right along too, and Martha McCallum just asked him hey dumbo elf wasn’t there anything you could do other than just sit there like a lump on the log, to which he spouted a bunch of nonsense trying to insist he did something even though everyone knows he didn’t.
It’s pretty obvious they wanted something to be found. They wanted him removed, they just couldn’t find a way to do it. He’s not out of the woods yet, either.
