WASHINGTON - President Donald Trump said Friday that he is willing to provide Joe Biden, his presumptive Democratic opponent, with a rapid COVID-19 testing system so Biden can return to the campaign trail.
Trump, who this week made his first trip out of Washington in more than a month, relies on a federal supply of coronavirus tests so that he can maintain a more traditional schedule, while Biden has been isolating at home for nearly two months.
In a telephone interview with “Fox & Friends,” Trump said he would be willing to provide the former vice president with the same coronavirus tests he uses.
“Yes, 100%. I’d love to see him get out of the basement so he can speak,” Trump said, needling Biden for holding virtual campaign events and media interviews from a studio in his home.
He added, that if Biden’s team asked for them, “We would have it to them today.”
There was no immediate response to Trump’s offer from the Biden campaign.

Joe Biden’s campaign attempted to hold a virtual rally on Thursday and it melted down in a tech disaster.
Biden apparently was to be introduced, and he was going to walk towards the camera before dramatically removing his aviator sunglasses.
The video almost immediately glitched, and before Biden strutted forward, he said, “Did they introduce me? Am I on?”
As Biden attempted to address supporters, his words were garbled to the point of being indecipherable and the glitching video made his face contort in awkward, unnatural ways

I grinned when he said that...and added that they don’t want Joe to get too much public time because whenever he talks it’s good for Team Trump...

In a sly maneuver that appears to be magnanimous gesture on the part of Donald Trump, Joe, you could be lured to escape the security of your basement, out into public view for all to see. Up to now, Joe, you have enjoyed the relative obscurity of not getting much scrutiny of your statements, but once out in the open, the pitiless questioning will begin, sometimes in the presence of a less than welcoming audience.
Don’t accept, Joe. It’s a TRAP.

Joe said he was going to wear a mask when he went out.
Every time the media sees him out without a mask, they are going to ask him “why aren’t you wearing mask?”
Every press conference, every time hes seen interacting with people. He said he would wear a mask.
Trump never said that and yet he still gets this stupid question.
