The two men who allegedly tracked, stopped, and killed Arbery were identified by the Police as being Gregory McMichael, 64, and his son, Travis McMichael, 34. The two claim there were several break-ins in the area and pursued Arbery to investigate if he was the perpetrator.
Listen to me when I say this: You will see that this was murder. After watching the video multiple times, in my mind, the only conclusion is that these men saw a black man running through their neighborhood and immediately thought he was up to no good and murdered him. Whether this murder was premeditated or not, the two men in that video appeared to murder this man. I do not think that black men are being systematically hunted and killed just for the color of their skin, but I think Ahmaud Arbery was.
I have to say that these men ALLEGEDLY murdered this man and got away with it. Because the two men that made it out of this situation alive, unlike the man they gunned downed, have not been arrested, charged, or reprimanded in any way regarding this incident.
Facts we know: There were break-ins in this neighborhood. Ahmaud Arbery was an athlete who liked to take care of his body. Arbery was wearing athletic clothes. Arbery was unarmed. Arbery was not inside anyones home, nor seen inside anyones home. Arbery was not in possession of anyone elses belongings. These men saw Arbery jogging in their neighborhood. These men tracked him down. These men fought with him. These men fatally shot him. These men have friends in the district attorneys office. These men have friends in the police department. These men have not been arrested. THIS SHOULD NEVER HAPPEN. EVER.

if so, this is a unicorn. what are the % of blacks murdered by whites compared to whites murdered by blacks?
Well, it did happen and Arbery tried to grab the shotgun and hit the man holding it. That is why he is dead. He could have argued his case in court if he had not attacked the man with the shotgun, plain and simple.
Because the video shows EVERYTHING that occurred right? Sad dang stuff but there has to be more to it than appears on the surface. How video’d it and why?
There is no Waycross County in Georgia.
If you are jogging down the street and you are accosted by two armed men demanding you stop, are you telling me you would stop, let them rob or shoot you, and then hope you survive so you can argue the case in court? Or do you fight for your life and try to get the gun away from your assailant?
Can’t tell enough from the video to have an opinion.
I’m not gonna make any judgements here because I am probably not in possession of all the relevant facts. But I have been following this and what facts are out there do not look good for these two guys. Some dude going about his lawful occasions while unarmed ended up shot dead. No one is suggesting that this guy started anything or was looking for trouble. That cannot be said for the two guys who offed him. If you go looking for trouble with a loaded gun and an unarmed man out for a jog gets killed then you have some explaining to do. The burden of proof should be on them.
I would not reach for and fight for a shotgun pointed at me. That is suicide. The results of that action speak for themselves. Sometimes, you just do what the guy with the gun tells you to do.
“How videod it and why?”

Who:
One of the victim’s pursuers in another care?
Why:
He’s as big an brainless jackwheel as the other two.
No Brunswick County, either. Brunswick is in Glynn County and Waycross is in Ware County.
Am seeing conflicting info about whether he lived in that neighborhood, whether he was wearing jogging clothes, what his criminal record contains (taking handgun to school basketball game?), and what prompted 3 men in 2 vehicles to pursue him.
What is clear is he changed course to cross the width of the truck to fight someone for a shotgun being pointed at him - an extremely risky & questionable move.
another care?
- should be -
another car, not care.
So you don’t believe this happened? And you believe any crime should be weighed against what the demographics of the crime are? Where is that in the US legal system?
It all depends on the circumstances.
If you are innocent, and they say they are robbing you, you certainly can fight back.
If you are innocent, and they say they are calling the police, best to wait for the police.
If you are guilty and they say they are calling the police, you may take your chances.
Did the shooter call the police? If they did, the person who got shot made a very bad decision.
So is standing there and letting him shoot you. If you fear for your life then you fight. And if I'm accosted by two men with guns with no reason to think that they aren't out to kill or rob me then I'm sure going to fear for my life.
You live in Texas? Is self defense illegal there?
In Georgia you can get away with murder with amazing ease.
George Barnhill is the Trey Kelley of this case.
Well, it did happen and Arbery tried to grab the shotgun and hit the man holding it. That is why he is dead. He could have argued his case in court if he had not attacked the man with the shotgun, plain and simple.

Well, Arbery did charge the son holding the shotgun and appeared to be trying to take the shotgun from him. Whats not know for sure was what was in Arberys mind. Was his intent to hit the son with it? Was his intent to shoot the son and the father with it? Who knows.
What was in the sons mind at that moment? What was he thinking? The grand jurors and the trial jurors will have to decide. If I was in the sons situation I would be in fear for my life and react accordingly, which would constitute justified homicide self-defense.
