I am really surprised that the hottest of hotspots weren’t on the west coast. There is huge travel from China to the west coast from Vancouver BC to LA and San Diego. It appears that New York got a different clade than the west coast and it seems the east coast strain was more infectious and more virulent.
So it seems.
The corona thrives in temps between 40 and 50 degrees F.
The East coast strain is the one the CCP sent to Italy.
Probably cause a little more sun...esp California. ..and more healthy people
