It's a tough five-way race for Worst Governor of the Pandemic between Cuomo, Newsom, Whitmer, Murphy, and Pritzker.
Cuomo and Murphy have killed the most people so far, but Pritzker and Whitmer are staying in the race on sheer obnoxiousness and dumb publicity stunts.
Calling the act of wearing a facial covering in public a “collective act of patriotism,” Illinois Gov. J.B. Pritzker called on state residents to not only wear masks while shopping, but also to report mask-related discrimination against minority residents.
He said, while not wearing a mask.
But if a mask is indeed a collective act of patriotism, why isn't the adipose rich kid wearing one? Also why is his wife in Florida?
A "collective act of patriotism" means the same thing in Illinois that it did in the good old USSR. "You do it, because we told you too, while we have some caviar and snicker at the proles."
During his Wednesday coronavirus press briefing, Pritzker said that a recent rise in racial profiling incidents related to wearing masks has to be stopped, and that store workers, police officers, and Illinois residents must guard against making dangerous assumptions about fellow community members.
Has there been a recent rise in robberies?
Is mandating that stores let in masked people going to encourage robberies?
Not a problem for Pritzker. But if you don't want to let a robber in your store, you're going to be hailed in front of the Human Rights Tribunal.
“I want to call on the public to help us stop these hateful incidents by speaking out and standing up for others in your community,” Pritzker said. “If you witness or experience mask-related discrimination, or discrimination of any kind, please report the incident to the Illinois Department of Human Rights.”
Because there aren't enough informers calling 1-800-INFORM just yet. But maybe one of them can track down the whereabouts of Mrs. Pritzker.

The "victim" was appointed to his seat by the Governor to replace his predecessor who went to work for said Governor. He should know not wearing a mask is no guarantee to be left alone under all circumstances. I like his mask.

Reminds me of Hollywood movies in which the hero picks up his sword and goes into battle — and never wears a helmet. Because facial recognition is key. We all need to see the face of our hero. The masses can wear helmets or masks and fade into the background. No one cares about them.

You missed Inslee in Washington State. But I can understand that as the entire left coast of the country reeks so their media has their backs and nothing gets out. People like Patty Murray, Christine Gregoire, Gary Locke, Maria Cantwell, all were protected by the media and the federal ones are still in power. But Gregoire, Locke, and Inslee all worked within the system to keep the libs in power. The vote of one ultra liberal county, King, and one moderate county, Pierce, outvotes the entire rest of the state to get these people elected.
But you never hear anything about them because of the “iron curtain” across the left coast set up by the media.

Our idiot rhino governor in MA. is no better than Cuomo, Newsome or Pritzker. We’ve been mandated to wear masks. He shows no signs of opening our state.
Putzker and Lighthead ruined McCormick Place for 12 patients who were forced to go there as a publicity stunt.
The University of Chicago Hospital was empty. On the day Lighthead forced these 12 people to contaminate McCormick Place, there were 40 empty beds at the U of C ICU unit.
According to the trade show guys, it will cost $$$Millions to clean McCormick Place just for a 10 minute photo op.
