It is beyond outrageous. Any person who “volunteers” to go help New York again in the future should be on notice that this is how the Big Apple pays you back.
What does this say about New York? What does it say that the man who presides over this mess of a state is the pick of most democrats to be their champion and run the nation in lieu of their weak candidate?
I cannot begin to verbalize my disgust over this in a family friendly manner.
The MSM is not covering the real story (yet) of what the state of NY did to their nursing homes and most vulnerable citizens, but that is a story that will not go away. There are going to be many angry families when they realize their loved ones were likely killed because of a bureaucratic decision to place infected people back in nursing homes.
They whined and cried that they needed all of this stuff to fight the pandemic yet they never closed down the subway system? The federal government and thousands of Americans stepped up to help them and this is how they “pay it back.”
Its already started here in KS. 5 known cases filed by as many families for wrongful death, et al. against the long term care facilities.
I wonder if the 9-11 volunteers had to pay taxes.
