Dr Grant Colfax, San Francisco's public health director, said the harm-reduction approach is widespread and based on decades of sound public health policy.
'Our focus needs to be on supporting them,' he said of the people who are isolating or under quarantine.

lol, the headline is longer than the excerpt.
A year ago I would have thought this too crazy even for San Fran.
This is kind of necessary if they’re going to be kept in quarantine.
The real problem is that San Francisco never addressed the issue of rampant homelessness; this is just a tertiary consequence.
I demand heroin and meth be delivered to me!
“Decades of sound public health policy”? Typical of “progressive” thinking. Its demented and delusional.

Which it did. I hate fires.
Hookers would be nice too.
Shoot, A Fella’ Could Have A Pretty Good Weekend In Vegas With All That Stuff.
Excellent post. And it us going to keep them in one place. It seems like a necessary evil right now.
I am assuming these hotels that have been turned into homeless shelters will NEVER be habitable for tourists.
