Emiliano Zapata was one of the very few great leaders Mexico ever had (a similar experience suffered by the French). He truly loved the Mexican people and fought...and died for them. While going to negotiate peace with Carranza, Carranza had him assassinated by the guards a the front gate when he arrived. Shelly Luther chose financial death over bending the knee. God blessed her through other people who still have values and the battle goes on. Zapata is an example of righteous rebellion and so is Shelly Luther. It is time to stand with her on this one.

But was Zapata a Robin Hood, or was he a heroic crook whose history is being redefined?
He sure as hell killed a lot of people.
Methinks that Zapata’s personal principles were not as heroic as those of William Travis or Davey Crockett at the Alamo.
