I keep hand sanitizer in the car.
As soon as I sit down in the driver’s seat, I sanitize my hands. Then take my mask off.

I don’t sanitize all the groceries.
I wash my hands after I put everything away.
Almost everything will sit there for a day or two before they get touched again.

I keep clorox wipes in the car....take off my gloves and stick them in a plastic bag...wipe my hands, steering wheel and door handle and put my mask on the dash where the suns rays will zap it.

When I get home, do the same as you....leave my shoes at the door...put the groceries away and wash my hands.

Lucky enough to have a community garden to putter around in the sunshine.

I'm 76.

In the end...all this is nothing....I just want to hug my children and grandchildren again.

Sounds a lot like my routine.. The mail and packages sit in the garage for a few days.
