I’m not only behind the curve, I probably missed it altogether and ran off the road.
OH my goodness! I’m so sorry to hear that. I was joking about the drinking. I have found myself in Iowa, which is far from what I imagined, so I understand in a sense. I really hate these winters and miss Oklahoma and Texas. Also, we can’t afford to buy anything here, so we are paying too much rent to live in a crappy duplex. And, I can’t have a dog, which is killing me. Still, I have many blessings and things for which I am grateful.
Hope things work out for you.
During the Great Depression our country was led by a Democrat Socialist progressive president. This POS attacked E.I. Dupont during WW2 for “profiteering” while they were producing most of the gunpowder during the war.
Trump is an extreme capitalist and won’t relent until our economy is back and roaring.
I have faith.
I hope you are right! Many years ago I worked for the Texas state employment agency and saw firsthand how many people took UI as long as they could, then miraculously found a job when their benefits expired.
Ha, ha, of course! Why didn’t I think of that?
Indeed. I just hope the American people are smart enough to reject the socialist Democrats. As Bastiat said, “Government is the great fiction, through which everybody endeavors to live at the expense of everybody else.
Now if we could only get rid of the vestiges of the New Deal such as price supports and subsidies. If government would get out of agriculture, producers and consumers would be better off. Too bad those who receive subsidies don’t see how it hurts them.
Ouchie! Looks like Elizabeth Warren.
