Researchers at Utrecht University, Erasmus Medical Center and Harbour BioMed (HBM) today reported that they have identified a fully human monoclonal antibody that prevents the SARS-CoV-2 (COVID-19) virus from infecting cultured cells. The discovery, published online today in Nature Communications, is an initial step towards developing a fully human antibody to treat or prevent the respiratory disease COVID-19 caused by the novel coronavirus SARS-CoV-2.

Monoclonals have a much higher success record than conventional pharmaceuticals. Depending on who you are talking to, 5% for conventional pharmaceuticals, 10-30% success rate for monoclonals. So, this could be big, and bigger than the vaccine.

It is possible to produces these monoclonals in TON quantities. If it is a horserace, monoclonal vs. vaccine, my money is on the monoclonal.

How about you just check those who have recovered for those antibodies? Kind of like how God intended our immune system to function.

10 to 30 percent. 90 to 70 percent not successful. I think maybe I would keep some Zink and malaria medicine around just in case.

Where did the antibodies come from? Did they just fall down from the sky? My guess is they found it in the serum of recovered Covid patients, which means we should just let nature do its thing.

“Fully Human” from “Humanized Cultured Mouse Cells”. The antibody was generated using Harbour BioMed’s H2L2 transgenic mouse technology. Volunteers? No line folks, step right up!

On a serious note, I hope it works or leads to something that does soon...

There are quite a few promising early-stage approaches to defeating the coronavirus, coming out at an increasingly rapid rate. One or more of them are likely to “stick”—Lord willing!!!!

I think they should look at Coyote Peterson’s blood and see if it could block this virus.

He has been stung many times by venemous things that make you wonder if he is going to have a heart attack right then and there. He has got have to have some kind of super duper system at this point

https://kslnewsradio.com/1924527/stung-by-a-giant-murder-hornet/

“After 20 minutes there was noticeable discoloration and swelling on Peterson’s forearm, and 24 hours later Peterson says arm had swollen to nearly double it’s normal size.

At the end of the video, Peterson summed up his experience saying, “In this moment, I consider it to be the most painful sting in the world.”

A great solution to a problem that will not exist in 12 months because of viral mutations.

COVID-19 equals SARS-2.

SARS-1 emerged in 2003 and completely disappeared by 2004.

SARS-2 (and SARS-3 and SARS-4) are going to do the same thing.

It will be interesting to see what cures [for incurable afflictions] will be discovered indirectly due to the massive attention given to this chicom virus.

Meaning — how a curse is turned into a blessing.

There is always a positive effect when honest, whole-hearted people decide to solve a problem.
