I remember the fight with the South American fire ants.
My Texas friends had to pour a LOT of gasoline down a LOT of ant hills to get those suckers.
I haven't heard much about them fire ants of late.
Fire ants are still here. I get stung all the time. Can’t avoid or kill them (at least to any extent). I’ve had them cover my legs. Nice painful blisters.
