Nigel Farage has slammed the mainstream media for suggesting that the public no longer cares about mass migration or what he has to say about it in a video message.
The Brexit Party leaders riposte was prompted, in particular, by an article by Sunday Times journalist Sarah Baxter titled The old Nigel Farage immigrant song sounds way off key, in which she chastised him for his statements taking the government to task for failing to turn back the boatloads of illegal migrants crossing the English Channel from infectious French encampments....
I wonder, who is out of touch here? Is it me, or is it the mainstream media? Farage asked.
So what this is all about is the fact that I went down, last week, having commented on LBC, written a piece in the Daily Telegraph Ive got a lot of people living in East Sussex getting in touch with me, saying: Look, this has been going on for a very, very long time. Yeah, sure, you see people being towed into Dover and taken into reception centres, but the story here in East Sussex is different. Whats happening here is people are arriving, theyre not being taken in by the Border Force, the police, or anybody else, and they are disappearing into the community, Farage explained.

I’m sorry he is not in the EU parliament anymore. His speeches were a must see.
Enoch Powell had a speech in April 1968 warning England about Islamic immigration. It has since been called the ‘Rivers of Blood’ speech and it has become all to true.
The biggest tragedy in British political history was when Powell was pushed aside for Edward Heath as leader of the Tories.
Well, for entertainment purposes Nigel was a Godsend, but I prefer the UK out of the EU a MILLION times more. At least.
Islamic immigration wasn’t specifically mentioned in the ‘Rivers of Blood’ speech - at the time it wasn’t seen as the main issue. The ‘problem immigrant’, as seen by press and public at the time, was the black Afro-Caribbean, originating from the former British colonies of the West Indies, with all the associations of crime, drugs, sex and rioting. By contrast the ‘Asian’ immigrants from the Indian sub-continent, who were Hindu and Sikh as well as Muslim, were seen as (and mostly were) quiet, hard-working and law-abiding, It was not for another 25 years or so, in the late 1990s, that problems with Muslim immigration started to become more prominent.
