I am glad the questions were not softballs.

They weren’t softballs, but they were disrespectful and stupid.
And it seemed that most of the show was those two anti-Trump, self-important anal cavities hitting Trump with gotcha questions instead of the advertised “town hall” - which was pre-filled with anti-Trump leftist operatives as well.

I learned absolutely NOTHING from wasting this two hours of my life. I didn’t hear Trump say anything I hadn’t heard him say before, and I just learned to loathe the media even more.

I agree with your assessment.

My take was that the Presidential answers were in fact reiteration of points raised daily on the task force briefings.

I concluded the purpose of the Town hall was to present the message to a different audience, an audience that was available only on a Sunday night.

Interestingly, Fox News was complicit in getting out the message to this Sunday only audience
