Dr. Deborah Birx said protesters who gather without wearing masks and not practicing social distancing at rallies against states’ lockdown regulations are “devastatingly worrisome” because they could spread the coronavirus to at-risk family members.
Birx, a member of the White House coronavirus task force, was asked by host Chris Wallace on “Fox News Sunday” about crowds that gathered at Michigan’s state capitol from a “public health standpoint.”
“It’s devastatingly worrisome to me personally because if they go home and, in fact, their grandmother or their grandfather who has a co-morbid condition and they have a serious or a very or an unfortunate outcome, they will feel guilty for the rest of our lives,” she responded. “So we need to protect each other at the same time we’re voicing our discontent.”
Demonstrations against governors’ stay-at-home orders have ramped up in the past weeks as the economic effects caused by the pandemic worsen and more Americans apply for unemployment benefits.

When I worked with the CDC during the H1N1 crisis, the medical advice did not include a recommendation for masks. For what it’s worth, the WHO has recently said that the masks have no effect on this infection.
But, these masks are very useful to build and sustain the sense of fear amongst the public. It reminds the people that this pandemic will kill them (it won’t) and the only hope is to blindly follow the orders of the Administrative State. These masks have become a political weapon in the hands of those who wish to prevail over Trump.
She was career Army. Now a government bureaucrat. She wants the childlike life of living on a military case for all of America.

and remember folks- the 6 feet separation law only goes out to the sides of a person- a person standing 3 or so inches in back of the person is A-ok
I noticed the press were all 6 feet apart side to side, but chairs were right behind the person where the person was only about a foot away or so

ok to buy lottery tickets, but not ok to sit in a car with windows up in parking lot listening to a preacher over the radio
ok to buy liquor, but not ok to go to funeral where everyone practices social distancing
ok for everyone in government to go out without a mask, but not ok for people to be on a lake miles away from everyone enjoying themselves fishing-

Frau Oberst Docktor Brix had a very unusual military career, serving as a researcher for her entire career. However, your characterization of the military as a childlike life is beyond an insult. When I was 23 years of old, I was commanding a rifle company in combat, responsible for every man in that company and doing my very best to make the right decisions no matter the situation.
