As I understand the 22nd, a person can serve less than 2 years of another person's term, plus two full terms of his own.
So if Biden resigns just after 2 years and Obama is his VP, Obama can serve the remaining two years as president.
Of course Hilary will never resign if Obama were her VP.

The problem is that, at the time of the election we must presume that the candidate will serve the whole term. Therefore, Obama would be ineligible to run for a full term as VP via the 12th amendment.

Read the amendment.

It says, no one may be ELECTED President more than twice.

it does not change ELIGIBILITY to BE President - as long as you don’t get there by “ being elected”, whatever that means in a Constitution that does not even have elections in it.
