On Sunday, Andrew Adonis, a member of Britain's House of Lords and onetime cabinet minister, took aim at the idea that the coronavirus pandemic was causing a crisis of capitalism.

While it's debatable how communist modern China actually is, Adonis is not alone in his complaint. Numerous Western politicians, particularly on the right, have blamed China's government and political system for causing the current global crisis. Many have continued to hammer phrases such as "China flu" or "Wuhan virus," despite warnings that such terms could lead to increased hostility against Asians.

As Mark Steyn pointed out on Rush’s show the other day - we were told that increasing trade with China would open up their society and make them more like us. Instead it is Western societies that are increasingly becoming more like China.
Look out for those temperature-sensing drones today!

China has got nothing on Gretchen Whitmer or Janet Miller of Maine. Whitmer is every bit as dictatorial, undemocratic, anti Christian as the Chinese government is right now.
I'd argue that the Chinese government's reaction to coronavirus was less destructive than what Whitmer is doing right now.
These dictatorial, unconstitutional acts by Dem governors are going to have to be ultimately topped by the US Supreme Court.

Literally running interference for the CCP.
Disgusting.

CNN will never ever tout Taiwanese handling of the corona virus pandemic.
"Taiwan was forced to contain the outbreak without official help from the World Health Organization and other international bodies ('bowing down to ChiComm') ... Despite those hurdles, Taiwan has led the world in its fight against the virus, with only about 400 infections and six deaths for a population of 23 million. By comparison, New York state -- with slightly fewer people -- had almost 300,000 cases and more than 22,000 deaths." (excerpt from Bloomberg)

So if a private company censors speech on its platform at the bidding of a government authority, would *that* be a violation of the First Amendment?

I see their point. 60 million dead Chinese can’t be wrong. They certainly can not deny that they are better off...

“This coronavirus diplomacy is paying off. In a tweet (written in Chinese) this month, Iran’s foreign minister Javad Zarif praised Beijing for coming to his country’s aid, saying the coronavirus was “deepening the comprehensive strategic partnership between the two countries.”
Oh my freaking God! If CNN had been around in the 1930s they would have praised the diplomatic relationship between Hitler and Mussolini.

A lot of people here thought in the 1930s that Hitler and Mussolini had the right idea.

They would have praised Hitler for his “population Control” with the “final solution” and Hitler’s fight for environmental control.
