Wednesday on Fox News Channel’s “Hannity,” Sen. Lindsey Graham spoke on the latest news showing a “perjury trap” was laid on former National Security Advisor Michael Flynn that ultimately resulted in Flynn taking a plea deal to avoid a harsh prosecution.
According to Graham, there was “more coming” in regards to Flynn’s prosecution.
“There’s more coming,” he said. “Yes, I think there’s more coming, though. It’s pretty apparent to me that General Flynn was a victim of an out-of-control Department of Justice. He basically got railroaded. It’s pretty wildly known that the Obama administration didn’t have much use for General Flynn. So, Attorney General Barr needs to be complimented. He is doing the right thing. He has three goals that I share — restore trust, hold people accountable who have engaged in misconduct, and right wrongs like General Flynn and I believe eventually, Papadopoulos.” Graham said he had confidence in Attorney General William Barr to determine whether or not there was wrongdoing.
“These notes reek of criminal misconduct,” he said. “I trust Attorney General Barr to be fair to everybody involved, those being investigated, but his goal, I know him very well, is to right the ship, is to restore trust that’s been lost, to hold people accountable. One of the worst things that can happen in any democracy is for those who are in charge of the law to take it into their own hands for political purposes. I think that’s what’s happened here, but time will tell.”
“But I promise you that we’re going to find out how the FBI operated when they were told by the Russian sub-source in January 2017, the dossier is a bunch of garbage,” Graham continued. “I find it impossible to believe that did not work its way up Comey and McCabe.

linda knew about all this in real time. The only reason he is talking about it now is because he can no longer hide it.
The only way to restore trust is to put some FBI leadership in jail. Having them get reprimands and collect their pensions won’t cut it.
Having Hillary get off won’t cut it either.
Having a bunch of people getting money from Ukraine (Biden, Romney, Lindsay, Pelosi) and not being forced to resign won’t cut it either.

Oh for God’s sake just pardon Flynn already. What is he waiting for?
It would have been great if Senator Graham had aggressively defended Trump and Flynn from the very beginning.
He and his friends Burr, Flake and McCain were the small group of go-to GOP Senators for the obligatory quote in all MSM news stories in 2017-2018: “Key GOP senators are expressing their alarm at the increasing evidence of Trump’s collusion with Russia, and privately are expressing the believe that he will not serve 4 years in office.”
I’m grateful for Graham’s steadfast defense of Kavanaugh and other more recent support for Trump, but I don’t forget what he and his cabal of friends did to undermine the early years of the Trump administration.

Infuriating to listen to the Chairman of the Senate Judiciary committee talk like he is a bystander in the peanut gallery and not an elected official who swore an oath to “defend” the Constitution.
If any facts are made public in this case it will be no thanks to the useless senior Senator from South Carolina.

Hey, give Linda a break! He’s been busy thinking about holding hearings on Joe Biden’s criminal activities in Ukraine, hasn’t he? Oh, wait...
Exonerating Flynn, and others is simply not enough. We need to see some jail time for those who set this stuff up.
