Every now and then a cop gets killed or injured by a tricky criminal, that still is no excuse for leaving out Miranda Rights. Yes, some people who are really guilty get to walk free, but that’s no excuse to eliminate the trial to determine guilt.

No polls of elders and their views. Those wielding power don’t want to lose the argument about opening the economy. Elders shelter in place and youngins’ get back to working and living.
