Since the coronavirus pandemic swept the world, China has been aggressively pushing its foreign policy agenda.
The moves China has made include strengthening its claim of sovereignty over islands in the South China Sea, cracking down on protesters in Hong Kong, and intimidating Taiwan with military procedures.
China is also using its wealth to push its agenda. It pledged funding to the World Health Organization after the US announced it was freezing funding, and it is providing relief on loans to African countries struggling with the downturn, while national assets are expected to be put up as collateral.
One of the reasons for this is that China wants to dislodge the US from its position as a superpower while strengthening its own global position.

China is a fustercluck on every level and the things they are doing won’t change that.
Sending broken ventilators and faulty masks isn’t exactly taking first place in the world.
Their response to pandemics is horrific as we now know. After all the modernizing, their infrastructure and pipeline routes to all of the areas there SUCK.
I guess some who read this garbage will buy it.

If we see a resurgence of ingenuity in some of the big stuffy, smelly stores (exhaust fans) and some other adjustments, China will have another thing coming. Make our economy more disease resistant, and drive on.

Even the examples given predate this bio weapon attack. China has been angling for war for decades.
The US needs to reassert the Monroe Doctrine with regard to China.

A country that can’t even supply it’s troop with domestically produced antibiotics and medical gear during wartime really be considered a “super power”?

They are the most recent contributors, but there are plenty of Americans whose actions and positions are not in America's best interest.

Business Insider is run by a bunch of Wall Street types who helped make China a superpower.
I also think this was a bioweapon. They are trying to crash our economy before the election and they are doing a pretty good job of it.
