So that’s where he’s been hiding out the last few days??

Researching studies..
Maximizing his financial holdings..
Preparing to retire..

Pick any and all of the above you think apply.

“Yes, great if it works. There’s another drug being touted, can’t remember the lab, Euro somewhere. Said if it tests good they won’t patent it. Too bad this bunch
wont do the same.”

Sometimes people at this board sound like communists. Companies develop each potential drug over approximately 10 years for up to $1 billion dollars on average spent in the process, and 9/10 of their candidate drugs fail in development. And then the company is expected to give away its product to everyone and anyone. Why would a company embark on such an expensive pathway of research and development if it couldn’t receive a return on its investment at the end of the process? People here often sound like socialist countries in Europe.

“In February 2020, the [Wuhan Institute of Virology] applied for a patent in China for the use of remdesivir, an experimental drug owned by Gilead Sciences, which the Institute found inhibited the virus in vitro;[25] in a move that raised concerns regarding intellectual property rights.[26]

“The WIV said it would not exercise its new Chinese patent rights “if relevant foreign companies intend to contribute to the prevention and control of China’s epidemic”.[27]

Maybe you can accept that more than one drug can be successful at treating this disease, and any success should be viewed with celebration. A reasonable person wants many drugs (including HCQ, which I prescribe every day!) to work.

[[Dr. Anthony Fauci says data from remdesivir coronavirus drug trial shows ‘quite good news’]]

Did he happen to mention how many 10’s of 1000’s have died while they fart around with their trials and won’t give HCQ in certain states until the person is in an emergency situation when the drug won’t work anymore?

10’s of 1000’s of people have died because fauci, cuomo, the msm and many many other liberals have come out against the use of HCQ

These people are going to be held accountable to God one day when they stand before Him on judgement day, and have to try to explain why they opposed an effective safe lifesaving drug that was readily available and showing it worked all over the world- This will be after they are asked to explain why they loved murdering unborn human babies- and after they have ot explain why they sent covid infected people to nursing homes to kill off the elderly just to save their state some money-

The Evil is Strong on the left-

I guess the opinions of the AAPS, “The Association Of American Physicians and Surgeons” are wrong and only Fauci is right.

An IV medication for hospital use is a plus, because very miced results have shown on using HC! at that late date int he course of this disease. Hospitalizations are very expensive and carry high profits for companies, not just the cost of the drug.

To ignore the efficacy of a drug combination which is inexpensive and that keeps folks from reaching the point of needing hospitalization ought to tell sheeple like you that something is out of kilter. But of course sheeple bleat when instructed to ...

I hope that this is not factual. If it is true, or either way, is it even possible that our government does not already know everything about this drug and every other possible drug that could be a treatment for the corona virus?

So that’s where he’s been hiding out the last few days??

He hasn't been hiding out. He's been giving more interviews to the press where he throws cold water on every attempt Trump is making to reopen the country.

Trump either needs to fire him or muzzle him and send him to his room.

Good news to the pharmaceutical company.

The patented drug is touted by Faux-chi but the drug that has been around for 150 years (Quinine) is downplayed at every turn by the deep state.

Someone needs to look into whether Faux-chi is getting paid under the table by these drug manufacturers. If the cure costs 15 dollars, then it is not helpful to the pharmacy industry. If it costs $1500, then it looks like good news.

Gee, I would have thought this would have been good news that the trials show a therapy can work and we can start to use it and get back to work. But not according to this thread for various reasons. Am I wrong in thinking you folks are missing the forest for the trees?

Hopefully the trials for the antimalarial drug cocktail also show similar promise.
