I think if we went all out, turned open the flood gates, hugging and kissing in the streets, no distancing, it would be bad, but eventually, it would burn out. Just as Sweden’s death toll is about 3 times what it is in Ohio, (similar population size), we’d probably quadruple the death toll. 200k, maybe 250k? Tragic, but, an existential threat? A 0.7% death rate?

Same warnings today from Germans Hospital Socity (DGK) and Berlin’s Charite Hospital in Germany; then the same warning today in U.K. Prof. Robin Shattuck / Imperial College (they had a solid study); National Institute of Infectious Diseases here in Tokyo also states that while the Wuhan “edition” was the first wave, the European “edition” will be the second wave and is alerting Japanese policymakers.
