How are we supposed to "follow the science" ?

People who support opening back up WANT it to work and cite "the science" supporting it. People who love the shutdown and economic collapse DON'T WANT it to work and cite "the science" detracting from it. So for schmucks like us, the truth is nowhere to be found.

The only truth I'm coming to realize is that "science" has become an over-politicized mess that is more interested in shaping public opinion than in finding the truth. Scientists do not appear to be too far removed from journalists these days.

I bought some stock in Gilead a couple of weeks ago. When the results came from China that it didn’t work (they said they didn’t complete the study because they didn’t have enough people infected with the Wuhan Flu lol) I almost sold it. But then I thought, well, wait a minute. This is lying, liar, lie-face commie China. It must have worked! Glad I held onto it.

It just goes to show that you can’t believe anything. Trials are run by parties that get the results they want.
