Mitt Romney has slammed Donald Trump's handling of the coronavirus pandemic mocking him as 'not the smartest guy in the room' and saying his initial response was not a 'great moment in American leadership'. The Republican Senator laid into the president while speaking live on the Georgetown Politics Forum Tuesday evening. As well as blasting Trump's leadership style, Romney also criticized his move to stop funding to the World Health Organization and said a more centralized approach from the federal government would have been 'more effective' in tackling the pandemic.

He has back stabbed Trump more times than the Senators who assassinated Julius Caesar

Romney has so much experience realizing he’s not the smartest guy in the room that he has turned recognition of his own stupidity into a plus & he’s bragging about it.
Credit for recognizing his stupidity; that’s quite an accomplishment. POTUS isn’t going to be needing that skill.

In spite of the overwhelming evidence the WHO is now an organ of the Chinese Communists and swallow ChiComs lies hook, line and sinker. Just business as usual with China how Willard?

Has Romney’s popularity taken a big hit in Utah, or is the magic underwear blast-proof election armor there?

said a more centralized approach from the federal government would have been 'more effective' in tackling the pandemic.

So a one size fits all policy despite the vast differences in infection rates across the country?

saying his initial response was not a 'great moment in American leadership'.

I did not hear Willard say a peep for 2020 until today. I am sure Willard along his plutocracy buddies did not like Trump imposing the travel restriction in China.

I still say there’s a greater-than-zero chance he makes an Independent run for POTUS.

Romney is a progressive corportist. Like most of the GOPe he’d much rather a Democrat in the WH and a Democrat SCOTUS than a MAGA GOP candidate.

Good luck to the GOPe post Trump. Could get tough for them to get votes in MAGA country.

Mitt lacks self awareness as he is convinced he is the smartest guy in every room. Utahans are stupid for giving this obvious cancer back in the spotlight. Any other republican would have been better.

+++++
Sure Mitt. Who needs Governors or Mayors anyway? President Mitt could have easily organized and supported all 50 states and every city and just waltzed them through the pandemic.

That’s what they do in China.
That’s what they do in Russia.
That’s what they do in North Korea.

And, at least for someone as smart as President Mitt it would have been easy as pie.

Give me a break.
