Hillary Clintons endorsement Tuesday of former Vice President Joe Biden in the November presidential election is just the latest sign of Democratic unity that will be needed to send President Trump into political retirement.
Biden has also picked up the endorsements of many other prominent Democrats, including candidates who ran against him for the presidential nomination this year, former President Barack Obama, House Speaker Nancy Pelosi of California, and even Rep Alexandria Ocasio- Cortez of New York one of the most progressive members of Congress.
Democratic unity this year is quite a contrast with the disunity of 2016. Clinton struggled then to get endorsements, especially from Sen. Bernie Sanders of Vermont (who ran against her for the presidential nomination) and the more progressive wing of the party.
The endorsement of Biden by Clinton a former first lady, senator and secretary of state may not get Biden many additional votes, but its likely to help him raise the millions of dollars he needs to defeat Trump.

Democratic unity illustrated by the endorsements from Clinton and others that Biden has picked up is a positive sign for those of us who long for competent leadership in the White House. I dont know if Joe Biden will be our next president, but if I were a Trump supporter Id be very nervous about the prospect.

Oh good the 2 time loser kiss of death is endorsing him. Better watch out Trump! This only means the xlinton machine is revving up
Endorsements mean very little.
Exactly. What an asinine article. Is there a single solitary person in the entire world that thought that Hillary might endorse Trump or just declare it a toss-up? No one hates anyone with a greater passion than Hillary Clinton hates Donald Trump. She’d endorse literally any opponent, animal, vegetable (Joe) or mineral.
Did anyone expect that the Democrats would not unite behind their selected candidate?
It’s always the case.
Hillary only endorses Hillary.
Like that corrupt lying cow was not going to endorse Plugs. Dimwitted Marshall sure seems to think it wasn’t a given and now it’s a game changer. LOL!

Its the only impressive thing about them, their ability to close ranks and not have rogues, unlike high minded republicans who put country over party like Jeff Flake, Powell, etc.
Paul Ryan joined on the board of the Fox news corporation in March 2019. 'Nuff said.
Who else could she support? BS news. No worries.
