Since I have no symptoms of covid-19, I can’t get prescription for HCQ. So I am doing the next best thing, eating foods rich in zinc (shell fish, nuts, red meat etc) and drinking tonic water with Quinine LOL.

Zinc is extremely hard for the body to absorb through the gut and also subsequently through the cell membrane. And it has to get INTO your cell to do its job on the coronavirus. Plant foods containing quercitin and ECGC can significantly increase the cellular uptake of the zinc, thus acting effectively like the HCQ.

Zinc ionophores (zinc uptake transport molecules): HCQ , quercetin supplement (say 400 mg), ECGC, green tea, elderberries, blueberries.

If using a zinc supplement, take the zinc supplement either as a lozenge or as zinc picolinate or zinc gluconate. Good absorption.

You need a low stomach PH (that is, you need acid in your stomach) to dissolve/absorb zinc and older people are often a bit low in that department. A little apple cider vinegar can help.

Quercetin can work to drive zinc into cells.
