Clay County Circuit Judge Michael McHaney ruled yesterday that Bailey, of Xenia, could ignore the governors order. While the judges decision only applies to Bailey, it opens the door for other opponents to do the same.
During the nationally televised interview, Pritzker accused Bailey of political showboating: This state representative was looking to gain some celebrity for himself. He took it to a local court, to a local elected judge and got the ruling that I think he knew he was going to get in that local courtroom.
The governor also painted Baileys backers in the courtroom he was told there were 90 as heartless: They even seemed to have laughed when our attorney generals representatives talked about the fact that people will die if we lift this stay-at-home order. Its abominable, its disgusting frankly.
Mark Maxwell, the Capitol Bureau Chief for Champaign CBS affiliate WCIA, reported who covered the hearing, wrote on Twitter today The audience in the courtroom yesterday laughed on several occasions, including at one point when the Attorney Generals office argued peoples lives would be at stake if the stay-at-home order was nullified. People who wore masks were openly mocked.
But is another GOP lawmaker about to file a similar lawsuit? That was raised by a reporter at this afternoons press briefing with the governor, a first-term Democrat, who said, well, it appears to me to be some partisan endeavor at a moment when, frankly, political parties shouldnt matter at all.

The hypocrite Jabba accuses his opponent of seeking celebrity while making another national television appearance to blame Trump for the pandemic.

The shutdown orders everywhere TAKE private property to benefit explicitly a public purpose without any compensation.
Pritzker is a POS. As a result, this state is about to have more severe orders issued beginning May 1st.
He’s not thinking about the rural counties, which most of Illinois happens to be, and there is nothing those counties can do. Those which house Springfield and Chicago always decide our elections, on top of the one or two counties which inevitably vote blue.
It’s so hard to live here, especially in Chicagoland, but right now we can’t afford to leave.
Prikzterd?

Why are rich hacks like him that give a token amount always worshipped and called philanthropists while many average Americans of modest means that tithe and who give 10% or more to charity are perpetually sentenced to obscurity.
Judging from recent history, should not the judge decreed that his judgement applies nationwide?
Same reason the media used to be respected: better PR.
Simple enough: I AM DARREN BAILEY.
It’s a state court judge, not federal
Putzker accuses the Judge as political Grandstanding? That is what he does everyday at his worthless time wasting news conferences.
I know, but my answer is ‘so what, there are no rules anymore on how far a judges reach can be. Just look at any of a number of judges rulings against trump.
Whenever I see Priztker I think SITZPRINKLER.
Hes not thinking about the rural counties, which most of Illinois happens to be, and there is nothing those counties can do.
Actually theres a lot they can do.
Lawsuits are only the first option

Our governor is only concerned with the city-state of Chicago. He has no idea how the rest of the state functions, nor does he care.
WCIA is a crappy tv station, as liberal as possible. Their reporters are young brains full of liberal mush. At least they were, I haven’t watched them in quite a while.
“Whenever I see Priztker I think SITZPRINKLER.”
I see Pricker.
I’m not that kind of guy! LOL.
