Cytokine storm. I dont think so. How can a person be getting so sick because they have no immunity and then have Cytokine Storm a few hours later. Those two pieces dont fit in the same puzzle.
Hardly worth committing economic suicide.
Coronavirus, in and of itself, has a rather low morbidity rate. Only in combination with other comorbidity factors, does it have much effect on actual mortality.
This is not to say that most of those persons who have perished would have died anyway, within a comparatively brief period, had there been no coronavirus, The chronic conditions would have been managed by medical means, sometimes for many more years.
Actual death comes not from the coronavirus itself, but from conditions exacerbated by the additional stress caused by the breathing capabilities being sharply reduced, essentially a form of pneumonia that leaves the body starved for oxygen, to the point of organ failure.
The trick is to interdict the effects of the coronavirus BEFORE this organ failure sets in. Hydroxychloroquine-zinc-azithromycyn protocol has been useful in gaining that advantage over the progress of the disease.
Doctors understand this relationship. Many lay people do not.
For what it’s worth, I have upped my daily consumption of zinc gluconate to 50 mg daily. Toxicity sets in at about 100 mg daily.
Car crashes down your way are contagious? Tons of rubber neckers getting infected with "car crash"?
Oh...wait trauma just might be a tad different than a viral disease.
It's just those youtube crash videos that go viral.
Looked it up. We get 39,000 auto fatalities per year. I believe 911 caused about 3,000 deaths. If we were getting a 911 worth of casualties per day, that would be 1,095,000 deaths per year.
For what it's worth, we got a years worth of auto deaths in only a month's period of corona virus.
But consider, if this virus rapidly loses its lethality, even in the process of one infection it might well explain why the illness just suddenly turns off. And if that could be the case maybe the virus people are getting today isnt nearly as lethal as the virus was 2 months ago and even less so in two more months? Could it even be losing its lethality so quickly we will see the deaths actually stop? This would be truly unique behavior for any virus.
It’s the Chuck Norris virus. There’s NOTHING it can’t do!
There are more than a couple of doctors who do disagree with that.
Or being savaged by loose iron ions, freed by the virus attacking blood cells. The blood then loses the ability to hold oxygen and other organs starve.
Stupid auto-correct.
-——if this virus rapidly loses its lethality——
Interesting concept. Covid-19 is a biological entity. How can it lose lethality?
To do so, it must evolve. Freepers know that there is no such process as evolution
It isn’t all that surprising, in most of the cases (99% in New York?) people who are dying have comorbidities, and the virus seems to exacerbate whatever it is you are suffering from.
And then there are all the weird reports, most of which I haven’t seen from official medical sources so I don’t know what to believe and what is being made up.
Let us try to be accurate when we say things.
1 month of corona virus deaths is approximately equal to six months worth of flu deaths.
I know! I know!
It’s going to kill us by starvation!
Are you less dead if you die from a virus than from a car crash?
Well, remember; at the time of lockdowns, the number of infections was very low, the number of deaths very low.
After lockdowns, we had huge increases, and then the curves turned back down.
They won’t want to stop the lockdowns until the havoc they created has completed, and the curve is back down to minimal levels.
You actually don’t know that because they don’t have an accurate antibody test.
A lot more people probably had it and didn’t even know it.
Doctors disagree with each other about many things, that is why medicine is sometimes more art than science.
REAL science is never settled.
All viruses attenuate. Evolution is a word for it. It is studied apparently by Evolutionary Biologists seems to me thats about where the similarities end. But I keep coming back to that gain of Function thing. If this bug got a boost on the way to becoming a Super Bug seems it could lose that pretty quickly.
