Just over two months ago, I spoke with an infectious disease doctor who not only believed that millions of Americans had already been exposed to COVID-19, but that the lockdowns were counterproductive and we needed to let herd Immunity take hold in our nation.
Two months ago.
With each passing day, we are told that multiple more Americans were in-fact exposed to the virus than the “experts” suspected. Or more to the point…guessed.
I will keep asking this question until the groupthink-thought-police come to arrest me: “When has it ever been sound medical or governmental practice to sacrifice – and destroy – the economic, mental, and physical well-being of the 99 percent to MAYBE protect and save the one percent...or less? When?”
This same doctor I spoke with also stressed to me that the “experts” our nation and the world relied upon to shut it down, could not answer one simple question. That being: Is COVID-19 less or more lethal than the Hong Kong flu pandemic (H3N2) of 1968? A pandemic that mirrored COVID-19 in that it was highly infectious and was primarily lethal to those over 65 with pre-existing conditions. A pandemic that infected millions of Americans and killed approximately 100,000 out of a then population of about 200 million. A pandemic which worldwide, killed upwards of 4 million people.
As of this writing, worldwide, there have been approximately 210,000 deaths. And does anyone else find it troubling and highly suspicious that the United States alone is responsible for slightly more than one-quarter of all deaths worldwide?
How could we possibly account for one-quarter of all the COVID-19 deaths in the entire world?
Easy, if say, you start counting pianos falling out windows and dropping on people as COVID-19 related deaths.
As we are also learning with each passing day, in order to justify their highly controversial, extremely punishing, draconian lockdowns, the handful of politicians, officials, and experts who upended our lives and ordered those lockdowns, are being very creative and very liberal as to what constitutes a COVID-19 fatality, all of which begs the question: Are there any ethical and honest reporters left within the mainstream media who could investigate this clearly duplicitous – but officially condoned – counting method?
The little real anecdotal evidence accidentally seeping into mainstream media indicates that the actual fatality rate in our nation from COVID-19 is less than the fear-merchants are displaying on their “Death Dashboards.” Potentially, far less. Unbiased professional reporting could tell us the real numbers.
But then, that’s the rub. Much of the liberal mainstream media signed up for team “Doom and Gloom” from day one. At first, they did so to create as much fear and panic as possible so they could use COVID-19 as the mother of all click-bait cash cows. Once that was accomplished, many in that same liberal media chose to keep the fear-mongering going as a political tool.
Tens of millions of now desperate, depressed, angry, unemployed Americans, coupled with thousands of small business owners now out of business, have been told for weeks to “suck it up and do as you’re told” by politicians, academics, federal officials, media talking-heads, and celebrities who either have guaranteed, gold-plated jobs and healthcare plans, or seven-figure salaries, and millions in the bank.
The Eighth Amendment to the United States Constitution prohibits “cruel and unusual punishment” to be inflicted upon criminal defendants. And yet, that same Constitutional consideration is not being afforded to those tens of millions of Americans whose lives have been negatively affected, or even destroyed, by draconian lockdowns which do amount to the most “cruel and unusual punishment” in the history of our Republic.
And then, from within that, tens of millions of Americans numbers, comes the – purposely – uncounted number of our fellow citizens who have died as a direct result of the lockdowns. Deaths from suicide, stress, drug and alcohol abuse, physical abuse, or those who had serious pre-existing medical conditions but were scared away from the hospitals and life-saving treatment.
Do those deaths count? Are those lost Americans of any importance?
Do facts even matter when COVID-19 has been turned into a political football?
If they still do, then some of those facts are blaring that the fatality rate for this virus is 10 to 40 times lower than the “World is Ending” estimates spit out by faulty computer models.
Dr. Scott W. Atlas – the David and Joan Traitel Senior Fellow at Stanford University’s Hoover Institution and former Chief of Neuroradiology at Stanford Medical Center – recently looked at the numbers in New York City, a city that became the epicenter of the virus in the United States.
Dr. Atlas – who is predictably shunned by the mainstream media because he does prefer using actual facts and statistics – recently reported that the rate of death for all people ages 18 to 45 is 0.01 percent. For people under 18, the rate of death is zero per 100,000. And of almost 8,000 NYC COVID-19 deaths fully investigated for underlying conditions, 99.2 percent had an underlying illness.
The truth must matter more than flawed computer models and experts and officials drunk on power.
Will anyone be held accountable for what will surely come to be known as the most tragic case of governmental, medical, and media malpractice in the history of the world? I doubt it.

But then why so many deaths in NY, taking into account the over-hyping of COVID deaths (Car accident. Did he check positive for the coronavirus? Yes? Add it to the COVID death count - we get money for that).

I agree. The news of this particular virus and its effects defied logic when we first heard about it and continues to do so.
I guess the Elites will not get their wish for a fantastically reduced world population of humans.
We will recover and we will not be so gullible next time. Hopefully by then the leftist media will be completely unstrung and the perps of this debacle will be outed.

COVID-19 – The perfect storm
The Coronavirus could not have happened at a more perfect time for a nation that hates us and wants to bring down our economy, for Deep State public employees that hate the president, and far left politicians that also hate our president.
For China where the disease apparently originated, the Communist Chinese government takes measures to arrest the spread of the new disease within China, but do nothing to prevent the disease from spreading outside China. We can only speculate as to why the Communist leadership acted the way they did, but it’s fair to assume, based on the few facts we know, that a debilitating disease in the United States would work to their advantage, by neutering our president who was finally giving attention to the fiscal disparities inherent in the trading agreements between China and us, and the chance to bring down our thriving capitalistic economy that they both envied and hated. This is fair speculation given China’s dishonesty and other actions.
The U.S Deep State and politicians lined up to perfectly exploit the disease using seriously flawed data to propagate extreme forecast of calamity. Medical experts from within the Deep State, who absent any other information would be suspect as to motive, first play down the potential harm that could be caused by the virus, then come up with extreme forecasts of fatalities resulting from the same disease. At this point they should have been sent back to their labs to focus only on a means of arresting the spread of the pathogen, or simply fired for grossly inaccurate forecasts.
The, worst of all, egotistical and power hungry politicians got on the playing field and used the flawed extreme forecasts to take extreme measures to exercise questionable powers outside the Constitution they swore to uphold. Applying their principal of never letting a disaster go to waste, their actions became blatantly political, even if that means sacrificing livelihoods and freedoms. To support their actions they propagate totally worthless statistics containing no useful information to make decisions going forward, or to even assess their actions. The public stats show confirmed cases and deaths, but nothing else for a reasonable person to assess in order to make personal decisions or for politicians to qualify their extreme actions that brought down our entire economy.
Finally we have a media also focused on bringing down a president and his successes. The media only reports the worst, and completely goes along with the first three elements, endorsing and supporting the goal of destroying what we have. An, or course, they never question or challenge, anything that deviates from the objective of implementing a far left agenda.
So we have three elements, and the media, each hating our successful country and economy in their own way, cooperating to destroy our way of life. The statistics that are published support their goal of only presenting the data that makes the disease look worse than it is, not to understate the contagious nature of the virus. Real time stats are offered on confirmed cases and deaths. The morbidity can only be assessed if both confirmed and unconfirmed cases are considered. Medical practitioners are encouraged to code any death, even distantly related to the virus, as a COVID caused death, with financial incentives to do so, further compromising any interpretation of the data on which responsible decisions can be made. Verbally some politicians tell us hospital admissions are down due to their flawed original forecasts, and worse yet, the power hungry and ignorant politicians cut off all other medical procedures exacerbating the financial impact on doctors and hospitals, and denying citizens access to needed medical care, or even elective procedures that the medical system can easily handle.
When the State tells you it’s safe to go to Home Depot to buy a sponge but dangerous to go and buy a flower, it’s not about your health.
When the State shuts down millions of private businesses but doesn’t lay off a single government employee, it’s not about your health.
When the State bans dentists because its unsafe, but deems an abortion visit is safe, it’s not about your health.
When the State prevents you from buying cucumber seeds because it’s dangerous, but allows personal lottery ticket sales, it’s not about your health.
When the State tells you it’s dangerous to go golf alone, fish alone or be in a motor boat alone, but the Governor can get his stage make-up done, and hair done for 5 TV appearances a week, it’s not about your health.
When the state puts you IN a jail cell for walking in a park with your child because it’s too dangerous but lets criminals OUT of jail cells for their health- It’s not about YOUR health!
When the state tells you it’s too dangerous to get treated by a doctor for chiropractic or physical therapy treatments yet deems a liquor store essential- It’s not about your health!
When the State lets you go to the grocery store or hardware store but is demanding mail-in voting, ITS NOT ABOUT YOUR HEALTH.

Cuomo had closed 19 hospitals with a loss of 20K beds few years ago due to Medicaid debt. Those hospitals were located in the poorest of areas and had Medicaid or uninsured patients.
On top of not having on hand PPE supplies in case of a epidemic outbreak.
Ventalators: 16000 shortage of required 18K to have on hand. Instead of purchasing them for 36K few years ago and cost of 500M which is like half percent of their budget they chose not to do so.
Subways, public transportation continued to run during COV19.
JFK airport was allowed to bring in people from COV19 countries after Cuomo got a Fed Judge to over rule President Trump ban on those flights. JFK averages 3K flights a day.
Let’s not forget their Health Commissioner said parade in March could go on. No worries.
Our whole country is being dragged down and sucked dry by NY.
Cuomo was also facing a 6B dollar shortfall come April 1. Having massive death and outbreak of COV19 gets him Fed emergency funds.
When male-to-female transgenders started suing to be let into girl's lockers and bathrooms. Not sound, but it happened. Now this.
