The math was never on the GOPs side.
Republicans enjoy a 53-47 majority in the U.S. Senate, but the partys defending 23 of the 35 seats up for grabs in the chamber this November. And while at least a half-dozen GOP seats are considered battlegrounds, Democrats are defending just a handful of vulnerable incumbents.
Two developments this month appear to be giving the Democrats a further boost.
I do think its 50/50 right now. I think that Democrats' odds have improved over the past month, predicted Jessica Taylor, who closely tracks the Senate races for the Cook Report, a leading non-partisan political handicapper.

My money is on a GOP Senate AND House. The dems worst nightmare has lasted for 3-1/2 years with no sign of letting up. If possible, this country would be so much better off without Pelosi, Waters, Feinstein, Schiff, Nadler, and Schumer. Replace that old crew, teach the rest a lesson, and keep the yappy idiots like AOC so that we have some left to school and kick in the ass from time to time. I dream of Trump Jr. 2024 flags. It could really happen folks.
All any GOP contestant has to do is show Nanzi bragging about her hoard of $13/pint ice cream and show how great Pres. Trump has led us during the COVID-19 fiasco.
Democrat party is an entirely corrupt criminal enterprise.
If it were possible for the Democrats to win the Senate in November, the Republicans should abolish the 17th Amendment this summer.
And what does that map represent?
Sounds very similar to the commentary in the 2016 election - the Senate was written off early in the cycle as a sure loss for the Republicans.
But unfortunately, we really need to hold more than just a bare majority - otherwise, Mitt Romney would effectively have control of the Senate.
The only Trump child that is a natural born citizen is Tiffany.
Looks like the Senate seats up for election this cycle. Not sure about the lighter or darker colors, though...difficult to believe a state like Idaho, for example, would be considered a toss-up.
Repealing the 17th would require passing both houses of Congress and 3/4s of the states.

Which of those states that are represented by the named do you
think will boot them out?
By the time we get to November, I believe the country will understand who the demoncrats really are.
Key will be to expose the past attempts and players who tried to remove Trump from office.
Barr/Durham, declassification keys
All that is forgotten, and buried by MSM in the new assault on Trump via the Coronavirus challenges.
No matter how many times he talks about numbers tested, Chinas not being truthful, all the accomplishments the MSM will drum “ Tump knew and people died”
Their revision of “ Bush lied People died”
Give it a shot. It might work.
Expect the RAT vote fraud machine to kick into high gear.
The darker states are the ones with retiring incumbents. The lighter shades show the party affiliation of incumbents who haven’t announced their retirement. The gray states don’t have a senator up for reelection.
At this unique point in time, I’m not surprised in the least that it’s now 50/50.—although I’ll only concede the numbers for the sake of discussion.
Things will look much different by November, and Ds totalitarian edicts of spring and summer won’t easily be forgotten.
The wall grows, the economy improves, and Ds hate us.
It won’t be Joe
The prospect of losing the Senate doesn’t bother Republicans. They’re content with being the half-hearted opposition.
We must take back the House and expand our votes in the Senate! We cannot give the Democrats any power, we see what they do with it.
I concur.

Good point. Pelosi, Schiff, Waters, Feinstein are all in California. Lotta people pi$$ed off there right now (and have been for a decade at least) though and want a whole lot of changes to deal with the huge social probs to taxes, housing...
You cant have a dream come true without having a dream first you know...
