She is spot on. We HAVE to open the country. There’s no alternative.
A Great Depression will kill more people than this virus ever could.
I’m so sick of the fear mongers comparing the WuFlu to diseases such as the Spanish Flu. The Spanish Flu was an absolute horror show and a virus to fear. The WuFlu isn’t even in the same category. It’s a bad cold compared to the Spanish Flu.
An interesting observation from the Spanish Flu pandemic: Patients in the Open Air Field Hospitals were three times more likely to survive the virus and healed much quicker. The fresh air and sunshine helped kill the virus.
That fact alone should be a strong argument against the draconian lockdowns.

And don’t laugh at this but my mother at 78 had a lot more energy than now. My mother would think your mother is in her prime :-)
