More than 27,000 New Yorkers have died since the start of the novel coronavirus outbreak in March — 20,900 more than would be expected over this period and thousands more than have been captured by official coronavirus death statistics.
As of Sunday, the city had attributed 16,673 deaths to coronavirus, either because people had tested positive for the virus, or because the circumstances of their death meant that city health officials believed the virus to be the most likely cause of death.
But there remains a large gap between this number and the total deaths above typical levels in the last six and a half weeks: more than 4,200 people whose deaths are not captured by the official coronavirus toll.
The recent death count reached six times the normal number of deaths for the city at this time of year, a surge in deaths much larger than what could be attributed to normal seasonal variations from influenza, heart disease or other more common causes...

Deaths due to sanctuary cities. Non of the illegal aliens brought to NYC were medically vetted. What do you expecct?
At the peak there were over 700 deaths a day logged as COVID. Multiply that number by seven for the number of days in a week and then add the 1,100 "normal" deaths per week.
Can you do math?

Nationally deaths were almost exactly the same as last year.
As a flubro, I can acknowledge that there were some surplus deaths in NYC during Corona, just as there are with the flu. But that is mostly due to gross medical incompetence. Many medical professionals in NYC are about as incompetent and uncaring (yes I said it) as those in Northern Italy. Many other locations have plenty of Corona patients and had much lower death rates.
the polite term for “gross medical incompetence” is “medical malpractice”
the alternative term is “manslaughter”

This is because they counting almost anyone who dies of anything as having died of Covid 19. The numbers are a fraud.
Someone in another thread stated the state received $39,000 dollars from the Federal Government for EACH death attributed to the virus.
Not to mention intentenionally letting people die in order to get more money and making sure no one uses hydroxychloroquine...... Cuomo and De Blasio say “hey, when God gives you lemons, make lemonade”

If that were the case then the 4000+ would have been logged but they weren’t.
